The judicial system of India is quite complex and therefore one should know the various types of courts which are there in India –
- District Courts – They are established by the State governments, however the decision of district judges can be challenged and case can be referred to high court.
- High Courts – They are above district level and for every state there is only 1 high court, its decisions can be challenged and case can be referred to Supreme Court.
- Supreme Courts – This is highest level of judiciary and its decisions are final and therefore if a person loses case in this then he or she cannot go further.
Apart from above there are local Panchayats also in every village which are self-regulated ones
